Questions and answers
Cost, timelines, the scope of the project and author's supervision — answers to the questions we hear most often.
Cost & timeline
How much does an interior design project for an apartment in Astana cost?
The cost of an apartment design project depends on the area, the scope of drawings and the level of fit-out. At BStudio.kz, the typical range for residential interiors in Astana is 15,000–60,000 ₸/m². You can get a preliminary estimate in a couple of minutes with the calculator on the site, or at a free consultation.
How much does interior design for commercial spaces cost in Astana?
Interior design for commercial spaces in Astana at BStudio.kz starts from 5,000 ₸/m² and depends on the area, the purpose of the space and the scope of documentation. The project includes the concept, working drawings and specifications for offices, restaurants, cafés and shops. The exact estimate is prepared after a free site visit and consultation.
How long does an interior design project take to develop?
A standard design project for an 80–100 m² apartment takes 6–8 weeks. For commercial spaces and country houses it's 10–16 weeks, depending on complexity and how quickly approvals happen with the client. Working on several stages in parallel shortens the timeline without losing quality.

What is author's supervision in interior design, and why do you need it?
Author's supervision in interior design is the designer's systematic control over the renovation: site visits, checking that the work matches the approved drawings, and approving any material substitutions. Without it, builders often deviate from the project, leading to hidden defects or a different look than intended. BStudio.kz offers author's supervision in Astana as a standalone service or as part of a full project.
Can I order a turnkey apartment interior design in Astana?
Yes. A turnkey apartment interior design in Astana at BStudio.kz includes the layout, 3D visualization, working drawings, material and furniture selection and, if needed, author's supervision of the renovation. You get a single process from the first meeting to a finished interior, without dealing with separate contractors at every stage.
Do you do 3D interior visualization in Astana?
Yes. 3D interior visualization in Astana is a mandatory part of every BStudio.kz project: photorealistic renders of the living room, bedroom, kitchen and other spaces before the renovation starts. This lets the client see the result in advance, approve materials and avoid costly rework on site.
Do you design living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens?
Yes. The studio designs living room, bedroom and kitchen interiors both as separate spaces and as part of a full apartment in Astana. For each room we work through the layout, lighting, storage and finishes — based on how you actually use the space every day.
Working with the studio
Where's the best place to order interior design in Astana?
The best place to order interior design in Astana is a full-cycle specialist studio — from concept to author's supervision. That's exactly how BStudio.kz works: one designer leads the project from the first meeting to handover and takes responsibility for the result. The studio has completed more than 40 projects in Astana and across Kazakhstan.
Who leads BStudio.kz's projects?
Bakhyt Saitova is the founder of BStudio.kz, an interior designer with 8 years of experience in Astana. In 2025 she became a finalist of the KUKHA DESIGN AWARD and spoke at the Astana Build exhibition. Her portfolio includes residential apartments, country houses and commercial spaces: offices, restaurants and cafés.
How do you combine renovation with an interior design project in Astana?
It's easier to start renovation together with an interior design project in Astana before the rough-in works: the concept and drawings are approved first, then the crew works strictly by them. BStudio.kz can also join a renovation that's already underway — we'll assess the situation, adjust the plan and, if needed, take on author's supervision to keep the intended result.
How does working with BStudio.kz go, from the first request to project handover?
The work starts with a free meeting or call to discuss your goals, style and budget. Then we develop the concept with the layout and 3D visualization, and after it's approved — a full set of working drawings and specifications for the builders. The final stage is author's supervision: the studio accompanies the renovation in Astana all the way to handover of the finished space.
